Markt Schwaben - Not only the artists, but also the organizing associations in the art sector, the Corona period with its lockdowns played a part in a bad way. The path is now slowly returning to normal. Or so it seems. Whereby there is always the hope that there will not be new restrictions in the coming autumn, as we have all had to endure them.
Against this background, cultural campaigns are taking place in the district of Ebersberg these days, which have been advertised under the collective name “cultural summer” (we have already reported). One of the clubs operating there is also the Markt Schwaben theater association, which invites you to its “open air summer” from next Thursday, July 22nd. From July 22nd to 25th and from July 29th to August 1st, the Markt Schwabener will be offering nine events of very different types over eight days. These will be the highlights of this cultural summer in the market town, because the traditional pond games cannot take place this year either.
Rehearsals were practically impossible until May.
In order to be able to play reasonably financially secure at the Weiher Theater, an average of 500 visitors per performance would also be necessary.
Because of the applicable distance regulations, however, you can only accommodate a maximum of 250 theater guests, it is said.
Diverse program planned
Apart from the Kirchweiher, the combination of
music and poetry
in Markt Schwaben has proven itself in many
cases, with which it starts on July 22nd at 7.30 p.m.
“Nudism meets the word”

The fact that art and culture can be presented there in these times has not least to do with the fact that the political community of Markt Schwaben supported the Swabian Open Air Summer very much, said Franz Stetter and his deputy Ferdinand Maurer in an EZ press conference.
By the way, the advance booking has already started; and so far only online. But that will change, so the two theater directors. As already practiced recently, tickets can be booked and paid for directly on the Theterverein's homepage. In this case, the organizer has 64 tables available. Because of the still valid corona rules, the tables can be equipped with one, two, three or four people. The association asks that groups as large as possible (a maximum of four people) be found beforehand. The more tables of four there are in the end, the more tickets can be sold on balance, says Franz Stetter. According to Ferdinand Maurer, visitors can get together just as they would meet privately in these pandemic times.In any case, the theater association directors emphasize the personal responsibility of everyone. There are also advance booking offices in the association's office, which is always open on Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the old castle.
Embedded in the "cultural summer"
All events in the context of the cultural summer are embedded in state funding, which aims to "restart" culture after the lockdowns of the past.
With the funding, everyone involved can act at no risk.
But it is also possible to lure an audience with halfway cheap admission prices.
The cards cost twelve euros in Markt Schwaben.
