The Colombian government's attempt to carry out a tax reform last April generated social unrest that was expressed in protests throughout the country for nearly two months.
Now, the authorities are playing a new card headed by the new Minister of Finance, José Manuel Restrepo, who must present a new bill to Congress this week.
