The

recognition of contributions for care tasks

is a measure

access to the right to retire.

It is known that due to greater informality and unemployment, in addition to the months of pregnancy, breastfeeding and childcare, a high proportion of women

do not reach 30 years of

minimum

contributions

to retire.

Based on the

ANSeS

records

- from which it appears that "44% of women of retirement age cannot retire" - the head of the organization, Fernanda Raverta, took the project to the Executive. 

For mothers who did not work to take care of their children, ANSeS will recognize the years of contributions so that they can retire.

Thus, this Monday the Decree of Necessity and Urgency (DNU) 475/2021 was published in the Official Gazette, through which the

ANSeS

will recognize "

women

and / or pregnant persons"

up to 3 years of services for each child

for that they can complete the 30 years of contributions and retire. 

The initiative, advanced by

Clarín

, is signed by President Alberto Fernández and the entire Cabinet, and

will immediately benefit 155,000 women

who are between

60 and 64 years old.

As the months go by, it will cover more,

as they reach retirement age (60 years)

.

When does registration start?


"As

of August 1,

the shifts will be hanging," Raverta confirmed.

Anses will publish all the information on its website so that women who meet the requirements can start their retirement process.

The measure seeks that women who have reached 60 years of age and did not complete the 30 years of contributions can retire by

recognizing the work of taking care of their children

.

Who gets the benefit?


Women with children, of retirement age (60 years or more) who do not have the years of necessary contributions.

Those women who

do not have a pension already granted or in process will

be able to access this measure

.

What is the recognition of contributions?


The recognition of contributions for care tasks will compute:

  • 1 year of contributions per child.


  • 2 years of contributions per adopted daughter.

Likewise, it will additionally recognize 1 year per daughter / or with a disability and 2 years in case she / he has been a beneficiary of the Universal Child Allowance for at least 12 months.

In addition, the periods of

maternity leave and maternity leave will

be recognized

for

women who have made use of these periods at the time of the birth of their children.

This inclusion measure is compatible and, if necessary, can be complemented by the moratoriums in force.

How is the procedure performed?


With

previous appointment, DNI and the birth certificate (s) of the children

.

Shifts will be available

starting August 1.

In the case of having children with disabilities, it is necessary to carry the Certificate of Disability (CUD).

If the children are adopted, it is necessary to present the judgment of adoption.

What can I do before requesting the shift?


  • From now until August 1 you can 

    check if the family ties are updated in my ANSES.

    It is very important that all children are registered so that this procedure can be carried out.

  • Where do I check if my sons and daughters are registered?

    You have to enter my ANSES with your CUIL and social security code.

    Select the option "Personal Information" and then "Family Relations".

  • What do I do if I find that one of my children is not listed?

    Family ties must be updated by presenting the ID and birth certificate of each of your children.

    Also, you can request an appointment to be attended at the ANSES office closest to your home.
