- At least 10 people have been injured this Monday in Marbella, in southern Spain, after being hit by a car, the Andalusian emergency service 112 reported in a statement.
The events occurred on Miguel Cano Avenue in this Malaga town when the vehicle hit the terrace of a bar.
Of the 10 injured treated, the emergency service reported that at least five have been transferred to the Costa del Sol Hospital in Marbella.
Among them, there is a patient in serious condition, two with a reserved prognosis and another two with mild injuries.
José Eduardo Díaz, Councilor for Citizen Security of the Marbella City Council, assured on Radio Televisión Marbella that the driver, a male who would be around 30 years old, was arrested after the collision and subjected to an investigation to clarify the facts.

After echoing what happened, Juan Manuel Moreno, president of the Junta de Andalucía, sent encouragement to the injured through a message on his official Twitter account.
