The brother of the late Alaa and the war-wounded one of the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army, Ibaa Azzam, pointed out that he drew strength and determination from his brother, and he was credited with rehabilitating him as a wrestler who achieved championships, in addition to qualifying many talents in the field of this sport, noting his role in dedicating his sports ethics to humanitarian work by doing many One of the humanitarian charitable works during the war on Syria.
It is noteworthy that the late Alaa Azzam achieved in wrestling, achievements in addition to the republic’s championships, most notably winning the gold of the Turkish International Championship, the European Middle Eastern Championship in Georgia, the West Asian Championship in Lebanon, the bronze of the Damascus International Championship in Roman wrestling, the silverware of the Arab Championship in Roman and Freestyle wrestling, as well as obtaining referee and coach certificates He advanced and coached the governorate’s wrestling team and chaired the technical committee of the game.
