In turn, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry clarified that these incursions fall within the framework of the occupation's plans aimed at changing the historical and legal situation in Al-Aqsa Mosque and the attempt to empty Jerusalem of the Palestinian presence, which calls for providing international protection for the Palestinian people.

For his part, the Undersecretary of the Palestinian Ministry of Endowments, Hussam Abu Al-Rub, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the storming of thousands of settlers to Al-Aqsa and the continuous attacks by the occupation forces on Palestinians in its courtyards, preventing its employees from entering it and cutting loudspeaker wires to prevent the call to prayer is an organized and systematic crime.

He stressed that the Palestinian people will continue to defend their sanctities to thwart all the plans of the Judaizing occupation, calling on the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization “UNESCO” to shoulder its responsibilities towards Al-Aqsa and to take urgent action to stop the crimes committed by the occupation against it and the Islamic and Christian holy sites.

Archbishop Atallah Hanna, Greek Orthodox Archbishop of Sebastia, stressed that the intensive incursions into Al-Aqsa are provocative and dangerous, especially as they come on the eve of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, stressing that the violations of the occupation against Al-Aqsa are an organized crime that the international community must stop.

Archbishop Hanna addressed the world, saying: Do not leave the city of Jerusalem alone to fight the aggressors, and do not leave Al-Aqsa alone to the occupation that seeks to undermine it by all means. We in Jerusalem will remain and will not surrender to the occupation and we will continue to defend our sanctities and our presence in this holy land.

For his part, Director of Al-Quds International Center Hassan Khater pointed out that the settlers’ intensive incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque and the occupation’s establishment of dozens of settlement outposts are part of the occupation’s plans to change and control its current reality, stressing that the steadfastness of the Palestinians in the battle to defend Al-Aqsa will remain a shield that protects it and protects Jerusalem and thwarts the colonial plans of the occupation.

Member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Wasel Abu Yousef, explained that the occupation’s aggression against Al-Aqsa is part of its aggression against the city of Jerusalem and its attempt to obliterate its Arab and Islamic landmarks, pointing out that turning the occupation of Al-Aqsa courtyards on the eve of Eid Al-Adha into a war zone is a crime that requires urgent action from the UN Security Council, the United Nations and UNESCO. To protect Islamic and Christian holy sites.

In turn, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian National Initiative, Mustafa Barghouti, stated that the silence of the international community on the crimes of the occupation against the Palestinian people and its sanctities represents a green light for the occupation to persist in its aggression, stressing that the Palestinians will continue the path of resistance and steadfastness on their land to thwart all attempts of the Judaizing occupation.

For his part, the head of the International Commission for the Defense of the Rights of the Palestinian People, Salah Abdel-Ati, called on the free people of the world to support the Palestinian people in their struggle against the occupation and to defend their legitimate national rights and to pressure the occupation to implement international law and resolutions of international legitimacy and stop its grave violations of Palestinian rights.
