We are convinced that a vaccination will help. ”The Nuremberg vaccination center is therefore offering an event at the stadium at the start of the season and also after the home game against Erzgebirge Aue. From 12 noon to 5 pm, all club fans from "near and far" as well as visitors to the stadium pool or the allotment garden can be vaccinated against the coronavirus * in the vaccination bus. The planning for this would be in full swing, as the city announced in a message.
The idea arose during talks between Mayor Vogel and Rossow.
Due to the spread of the delta variant, a high vaccination rate is becoming even more important.
"We are finally getting enough vaccine so that we can offer vaccinations to everyone interested in vaccination at the same time," said Vogel.
Vaccination campaigns should target younger club fans
The vaccination rate is still very low, especially among younger people.
It is therefore assumed that many of the younger fans in particular are still unvaccinated.
"That applies to the clubbers from the entire metropolitan region," said Vogel.
“When the club professionals get vaccinated immediately after their return from the training camp, this is an impressive signal for the whole club family: Get vaccinated.
All the sooner we can get together again: to the games, to celebrate and to enjoy the normal club life that we have so sorely missed. ”
