Also supported in future with regionality: Langenbach extends membership in eco-model region

Langenbach continues to support the “Ampertal eco-model region”: The community has now extended its membership - for good reason.

- Theresa Hautzinger, project manager of the “eco-model region of the Ampertal cultural area”, stopped in June.

Mayor Susanne Hoyer expressly regretted this in the most recent meeting.

Regardless of this, she spoke out in favor of continuing participation in the model region as well as a proportionate share of the costs.

Langenbach has been involved for three years.

Now the engagement has been extended for another three years.

Hautzinger's position, which is known to have done exemplary work, should be filled again as soon as possible, according to Hoyer.

The municipal council approved a corresponding invitation to tender as well as the continuation of previous efforts to promote or support regional products and projects.

There was no vote against.

Supply of daycare centers and schools

Among the noticeable advantages of participating in the model region, Hoyer mentioned, for example, “the provision of our daycare centers and the school with regional cuisine”.

From the point of view of the municipality of Langenbach, the costs for participating in the association are limited.

According to a list, a total of almost 3100 euros per year are incurred.

That is not even one euro per inhabitant.

Langenbach is therefore part of the model region.

You participate as one of twelve municipalities in the district, including the cities of Freising, Allershausen and Zolling.

The background and the declared goal for participation is to promote the production of local food and to raise awareness of regional identity.

There are 27 such model regions across Bavaria.

Over 550 municipalities are represented.

Exemplary commitment

The ILE Ampertal model region has already distinguished itself in particular.

About two years ago, they scored points in a nationwide competition with a concept that is intended to give the production and sale of local food in the region trend-setting impulses.

Accordingly, farmers, food artisans and other actors in the eco-model region are supported in the implementation of their projects through advice, networking and also access to specialist information.

A jury found this exemplary and rewarded the commitment with a certificate.
