Damascus-SANA

Syria confirmed that the Israeli terrorist attacks would not be able to protect its clients from the terrorist organizations of the "Al-Nusra Front", "ISIS" and the "White Helmets", and would not divert the Syrian Arab Army from fighting the terrorists and their sponsors.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement today that SANA received a copy of it that within the framework of the systematic policy of the Israeli occupation authorities based on practicing state terrorism and providing continuous support to armed terrorist groups and persisting in violating the relevant Security Council resolutions and international instruments concerned with combating terrorism, the Israeli occupation authorities proceeded At 23.37 minutes on the evening of yesterday, July 19, 2021, an air aggression on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic was launched by firing bursts of missiles targeting Al-Safira area in the southeast of Aleppo Governorate.

The statement clarified that this treacherous Israeli aggression, as in previous attacks, coincided with the blessed Eid al-Adha, when the occupation authorities launched such aggression before the last Christmas. This aggression also coincides with the terrorist organization "Al-Nusra Front" under its various names, launching missile attacks on some areas in Aleppo governorate and northern Hama governorate, starting from its terrorist hideouts in Idlib governorate, which it controls as a result of the unlimited support and funding provided by the US and Turkish occupiers to it and other armed terrorist organizations that partner with “Israel” in terrorism, which constitutes a flagrant violation of the Charter of the United Nations and the provisions of international law and all resolutions of the Council Security related matters, all of which affirm the sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of Syria.

The statement said that the Syrian Arab Republic considers this aggression as an Israeli declaration of bankruptcy and a declaration of the defeat of the Western-Israeli subversive project, and warns “Israel” of the dangerous repercussions resulting from the persistence of its attacks under false and false pretexts, its continuous support for armed terrorist organizations, and its continued occupation of Arab lands, including The occupied Syrian Golan and bears full responsibility for it.

The statement added that Syria confirms that the Israeli terrorist attacks will not be able to protect its clients from the terrorist organizations of the "Al-Nusra Front", "ISIS" and the "White Helmets" who, from time to time, fabricate new provocations using chemical weapons in Idlib Governorate to accuse the Syrian Arab Army. Syria also confirms that the Israeli attacks and its terrorist and criminal practices will not be able to deviate the Syrian Arab Army from its national compass and from continuing to carry out its constitutional duty to combat the terrorists and their sponsors of the Israelis, and with determination today, more than ever, to restore the occupied Syrian Golan.

The statement affirmed that the Syrian Arab Republic once again calls on the Security Council to assume its responsibilities within the framework of the Charter of the United Nations, the most important of which is the maintenance of international peace and security, condemnation and accountability for the blatant Israeli attacks, and to take firm and immediate measures to prevent their recurrence, and to oblige Israel to respect its decisions and hold it accountable for its terrorism and crimes committed against the Syrian people. All of which constitute flagrant violations of the Charter of the United Nations, the provisions of international law, Security Council resolutions 242, 338, 350 and 497, and all international resolutions and instruments related to combating terrorism.
