The flanking Franconian cabaret artist is less.

Freising

- The Dellnhauser Musikanten did the honors and made guest appearances at this year's summer wonder in Freising.

Under the motto "Holledau meets Franconia" there was not only the finest folk music from a perfectly well-rehearsed formation but also cabaret by the Franconian veteran Klaus Karl-Kraus, whose humorous interludes are supposed to be uncomfortable, but actually actually fell out of time and ultimately not even in a beer tent fit.

Folk music in perfection

In this case it is not at all easy: The concert by the cult band from Dellnhausen was without a doubt a lavish party. After a long Corona break, the folk musicians presented themselves in top form. Alone the opener "Holledauer Potpourri", including a sketch of "Unser alten Kath", gave an idea that the Dellnhauser wanted to let it rip that evening. It is not for nothing that the sound of this formation around Michael Eberwein is considered pure, peeled folk music - without affinity and kitsch. The best folk dance band there is far and wide, with a love for tradition and detail. The twofold “I am there host of the Stoa” is rousing and extraordinary in the vocal performances and dynamics. Very high quality, like the song "Hopfazupfa",a homage to the urban Bavarian seasonal work of the Hallertau people. The Kiem Pauli would undoubtedly have had the greatest pleasure in such a continuation of the Bavarian soundtrack - because the Dellnhauser musicians are both keepers and modernizers.

Unfortunately there is a lack of cabaret finesse

And then it gets complicated: The "King of Veitshöchheim" was allowed, as Klaus Karl-Kraus himself announced, to "bring culture".

Of course, the humorous approaches are often to be found in the Franconian language image and clichés, which can actually tend to be funny.

Example: The Franconian does not want a minimum distance of 1.50 meters, but at least four meters, even outside of a pandemic.

And you would hardly understand the Franconian without a face mask.

Opinions were divided on the cabaret artist Klaus Karl Kraus.

There were also sayings to be heard that no longer fit into this time.

Young people got their fat off

But then, in the middle, sentences fall that are subordinate clauses and actually shouldn't have been. Example: “We can no longer say everything on stage,” says Karl-Kraus, referring to the famous “Gypsy schnitzel”. In general, the modern world and young people in particular get their fat off - in his experience, the offspring would just become more and more stupid per se, but one shouldn't say that anymore. He complains about parents who drive their children to school in an SUV and puts it straight away with "Upbringing used to be manual labor". Whether Karl-Kraus is really serious about “a Schelln wouldn't be so bad”, because something would have turned out to be something from him is difficult to filter, because he didn't have the respite afterwards, as we know it from Gerhard Polt.

Other parents are currently trying to have the federal youth games banned because the son never received a certificate.

According to Kraus, the child is overweight.

Or to put it another way: “A fat pig”, as Karl-Kraus put it.

Should it be satire or black humor, was there a lack of cabaret finesse to make that clear?

Conclusion: A wonderful concert with an uncomfortable cabaret artist from the day before yesterday.
