Paratroopers in the IDF participated in the reconstruction of Hanna Szenes' parachute in Slovenia
Along with a hundred other members of the delegation, and paratroopers from four countries, the paratroopers who will recreate this week the historic parachute of the Hebrew warrior and poetess, who was captured and executed during World War II.
The parachute took place at the "Kirki" airport in Slovenia, near Szenes' original landing site

One hundred years mark the birth paratrooper Hannah Szenes, and memory Parachutists community, attended this week's IDF paratroopers, paratroopers and four other countries, the reconstruction of the historic drop in first Hebrew parachutist Slovenia.

The delegation's visit is expected to end on Thursday, when tomorrow its members are expected to attend the inauguration of a monument in memory of the paratroopers of the settlement, who fought in World War II in the city of Chakovich.
The monument is erected where Szenes was imprisoned.
Simultaneously with the ceremony in Slovenia, a ceremony will also be held at Beit Hatfutsot in Israel.
