A 31-year-old employee of the Defense clinic shot her colleague with a tear gas-laden alarm pistol as a result of

The dispute between colleagues has completely escalated.

It is 5:45 am this Tuesday morning at the Defense clinic in Nanterre when two nursing assistants begin to quarrel.

According to our information, it seems that the object of the conflict is the on-call schedule.

The tone rises quickly, the spirits heat up.

One of the two 31-year-old caregivers suddenly pulls out an alarm pistol loaded with tear gas ammunition.

She threatens her 44-year-old colleague and then shoots her.

As it is a blank weapon, no projectile comes out except smoke.

The forty-something is stunned and shocked but not hurt.

" Everyone is well "

Overwhelmed by her gesture, the author of the facts fled.

She was arrested at 7:30 am in Bobigny (Seine-Saint-Denis) near her home by a local patrol.

The thirty-something is then placed in police custody at the Nanterre police station.

A few hours later at the clinic, the caregivers who took over do not seem to be informed of the morning's incident.

The management refuses to comment.

"Everyone is fine", however, specifies a manager.

Note that an alarm pistol with gas is considered a category D weapon that can be bought and owned freely. But its transport outside the home must be able to be justified by a legitimate reason. To claim that the weapon would be used to better cope with an altercation or a danger does not constitute a legitimate reason in itself. The examination of this reason is done on a case-by-case basis by the police or the judge and takes into account the place, the circumstances and the context of the events.
