At the head of the fourteen multiplexes in France, representing 140 theaters in total, Anne-Sophie Le Guiader is multiplying original initiatives to properly welcome spectators with the health pass.

The question hardly arose.

Like the CGR group, Kinepolis has warned its spectators: from Wednesday July 21, you will have to come with a health pass, an identity document but also keep your mask indoors.

"The government decree

does not require the mask, but our sites are spread over different regions and we cannot wait for the various prefects to decide to impose the mask again,"

explains Anne-Sophie Le Guiader, group sales director. Kinepolis.

We therefore ask our public to keep their masks as a preventive measure.

It is compulsory from the age of 11 and strongly recommended from the age of six.

At Kinepolis, one of the most modern circuits in France in terms of programming, screening quality and reception comfort, the cinemas are mainly based in the North and East of France. In these multiplexes, spectators have for years become accustomed to reserving their tickets remotely and reserving their preferred seat, each seat being numbered. With the pandemic where it is necessary to facilitate the flow of spectators to avoid queues and bottlenecks, this model is a huge advantage. “

As we have the contact details of our spectators, we have warned all those who have already bought their ticket of the new reception conditions from tomorrow, Wednesday July 21,”

explains Anne-Sophie Le Guiader.

We are in an educational process.

Each individual case has been dealt with and everyone will know what to do.

"

“There will inevitably be a period of adaptation and then new habits will be taken.

This is a new step in the fight against covid, we will do everything to make sure that it goes well and that we finally get out of this pandemic.

On the kinepolis.fr site, a red insert with the acronym

“important”

explains in bold words the new ways of coming to the cinema.

He literally takes the viewer by the hand.

It clearly explains with an infographic what the health pass is.

He also advises to come with his QR code on the phone but also to take the paper version.

In concerts and festivals, there may have been bugs when reading the QR code and in this case, the paper version avoids any problem.

For those who cannot comply with the health pass, they will be reimbursed immediately in the form they wish.

Either directly remotely on their account or by coming to the cinema in the special queue that will be reserved for them.

Of course, access to the rooms will be prohibited to them.

As the health pass is only compulsory from the age of seventeen, young people, whose age cannot be guessed, are asked to remember to come with an identity document.

Exactly as we control access to horror films banned for children under sixteen,”

recalls Anne-Sophie Le Guiader.

I prefer to anticipate to avoid frustration.

"

To avoid having too many customer flows to manage at the same time, the screenings of blockbusters like

Kaamelott, Black Widow, Fast & Furious 9

or even

Space Jam

will be spaced from Wednesday July 21. “

The idea is never to have two big films at the same time,”

explains the sales director of Kinepolis France.

We also recommend that the public come 30 minutes early. This will avoid rushes.

»Thursday, July 22 in the morning, she will be in a debriefing meeting with all her teams. “

There will inevitably be a period of adaptation and then new habits will be taken,

” she believes.

This is a new step in the fight against covid, we will do everything to make sure that it goes well and that we finally get out of this pandemic.
