The owner of the literary wine shop "Prospero" in Palermo, Cinzia Orabona, after having posted a notice on the door of the restaurant and disseminated on social media that prevents people not covered by at least one dose of vaccine from attending the restaurant, was heavily insulted threatened on social media.
In his defense the deputy of Italy Viva Michele Anzaldi intervenes: "The institutions protect the owner of the Palermo wine shop who asks customers for the vaccination certificate in order to consume and has suffered racist insults and even threats".
"Without everyone's commitment, without small incentives like this to get vaccinated - adds Anzaldi - we risk that the irresponsibility of a few will damage everyone's life" "The Prospero Literary Enoteca - continues Anzaldi - represents a successful example of how to combine wine, publishing, food and wine culture and sociability: given the owner's courage in supporting the diffusion of the vaccination campaign at her own expense, it would be a duty that the media, starting with the Rai public service, give it maximum visibility, as some have already done newspapers such as 'Avvenire.' The Palermo operator, as he explained in motivating his decision, is now working to pay off the debts accumulated during the lockdown and cannot afford new closures. Those politicians who send ambiguous messages by fondling no-vaxes or by not declaring whether they have been vaccinated or not end up being the first proponents of possible new closures ".
