The Schliersee mountain rescue service had to move out to the Rotwand on Wednesday night.
A young woman had taken over while hiking and had circulatory problems at the hut.
Spitzingsee
- As reported by the mountain rescue service, the 24-year-old from Leipzig had exhausted herself on Tuesday as a result of a long hike to the Rotwand and thus after a long stay in the sun.
During her overnight stay at the Rotwandhaus she got more and more headaches and circulatory problems and had to vomit.
When her condition worsened again around 3 a.m., her companion notified the mountain rescue service.
The Schliersee readiness moved out to the Rotwandhaus with five mountain rescuers.
The young lady was looked after by the emergency services, transported to the Spitzingsee by mountain rescue vehicle and handed over to the land rescue service there.
The mission ended around 5 a.m.
In this context, the mountain rescue service reminds you to always wear a hat and drink enough fluids during physical exertion or in strong sunlight.
