The Representative Council of Jewish Institutions in France (Crif) said it was "
shocked
" Wednesday, July 21 by the misappropriation and falsification of the symbols of the persecution of Jews during World War II, deeming "
shameful
" the comparison between the health past and the yellow star.

More than 110,000 people demonstrated across France on Saturday to denounce vaccination, the pass and a

dictatorship
”.
Some wore "
yellow stars
" to symbolize the persecution of Jews and Nazi crimes during World War II.
The entire French political class has criticized this rapprochement between the extension of the health pass and the Shoah.
"A shameful instrumentalisation of History"
In a statement on Wednesday, the Crif said it was "
shocked and outraged by the misappropriation and falsification of the symbols of the persecution of Jews during World War II
".

Three days after the commemoration of the Vel d'Hiv tragedy, despite the indignation, the denunciations and condemnations, the photographic montages comparing the unvaccinated to the deportees of the Shoah continue on social networks and in the demonstrations
", writes -he.

The comparison between the health pass and the yellow star is a shameful instrumentalisation of history and an outrage to the victims of Nazi barbarism and their descendants
", he notes again, calling "
all social networks to the greatest vigilance in the face of the obvious risk of overflow inherent in these unacceptable manipulations
