The third lane on the FTO between Erding-Mitte and Erding-Süd should be ready in autumn.
For this there is now superstructure work to be done.
The section is completely closed from Monday.
Erding - The airport tangent east (FTO) is completely closed from Monday, July 26th to August 15th between Erding-Mitte and the junction with the B 388 (Erding-Süd).
The superstructure work for the third lane and the two emergency bays make this necessary, the Freising State Building Authority announced.
This is now the next step after the drainage system along the third lane on State Road 2580 (FTO) has almost been completed and the expanded ramp at the Erding-Süd junction has been paved.
During the three weeks of closure, the frost and gravel base course will be created and the base, binder and surface course for the future overtaking lane will be asphalted.
The existing lanes are also given a new surface layer.
After the full closure, drainage systems still have to be built.
For this purpose, one of the three lanes remains blocked.
The road section, with one overtaking section in each direction of travel, is planned to open to traffic in autumn.
The diversion route runs from Erding-Süd to the junction to Werndlfing and on via the communal connecting road to Sigwolfstraße and via Dachauer Straße back to the FTO.
The diversion in the opposite direction leads over the same route.
Since the new, western connection branch to the FTO is still closed, traffic to the south is routed via a temporary arrangement in the triangular island on the eastern connection branch.
Mobile traffic lights are set up to make it easier to turn in and out of the Erding-Mitte junction.
