Should parliamentarians be subject to the health pass before each entry into the Chamber? This is the debate that fifty deputies of the presidential majority wanted to open on Tuesday, ahead of the examination of the bill relating to the management of the health crisis. By tabling an amendment going in this direction, they put forward
“a concern for exemplarity”
.
“It is normal that we are also subject to the same rules as our fellow citizens. Moreover, the National Assembly being a place of mixing of hundreds of people coming from different regions, it is a place particularly sensitive to contamination ”
, they argued. If the approach is justified on the merits, the form is in reality not applicable.
