US President Joe Biden will participate in a CNN forum on Wednesday in Cincinnati, Ohio, just over six months after taking office.
The forum comes as the White House grapples with a further surge in COVID-19 cases, which has led to increased rates of hospitalizations and deaths.
The more contagious delta variant is spreading in areas of the country with low vaccination rates.
More than 161 million Americans are now fully vaccinated against COVID-19, but many still refuse to receive the vaccine.
The White House has stepped up its efforts to do more targeted outreach, particularly to youth, and to combat misinformation about vaccines.

The forum comes as the administration faces a number of obstacles in Congress, including on immigration, police reform and infrastructure.

The forum will take place at 8 pm Miami time on Wednesday.
