The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority announced that a light passenger plane crashed today in the town of Boro Hachi near the Kenya-Somalia border.
The Somali News Agency quoted the head of the authority, Gilbert Kiab, as saying that the plane belonging to the Kenya SkyWord Express police, with 40 passengers on board, heading to attend a funeral ceremony in southern Mandera, crashed while landing at an airstrip under construction in the town of Boro Hachi, adjacent to the city of El Wak.
