The Syrian youth football team has completed its training camp, which was held a week ago in Lattakia, in preparation for the West Asian Championship to be hosted by Iraq next November.
The coach of the national team, Anas Makhlouf, explained in a statement to SANA’s sports reporter that the five-day camp was successful and useful, during which the training program was implemented as planned and included two morning and evening training sessions. Invited with the aim of selecting the best and most distinguished players.
Makhlouf said that a third internal camp will be held before participating in the Tishreen football tournament, whose competitions will start on the thirtieth of July, and after that we will seek to conduct an external camp in Lebanon next month, which will include friendly matches. The first and second are followed up and tested to select the best.
The Syrian youth team had conducted its first selective camp in Damascus, in which Ahmed Yassin Hamandi, a professional in the Swedish first division, participated in it with Karkhan Setad team, with whom he won the league title three times and the cup twice between the youth and men categories, and the second, Mulham Humaidan, who plays in the division The second Emirati and affiliated with one of the Spanish football academies in the United Arab Emirates.
