On the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha, a loving meeting was held in Maharda in the western Hama countryside, which included religious and social figures from the Mahrada area, during which they exchanged congratulations and blessings on this occasion, an embodiment of national unity.

The owner of the initiative, Kamal Samaan, one of the notables of Mahrada, confirmed in a statement to SANA reporter that 20 years ago, the people of the Mahrada region used to participate with each other in all religious, social and civil activities, events, and events, whether in mosques, churches or monasteries, emphasizing the popular cohesion, love and brotherhood.

Hayyan Al-Bitar, head of the Civil Initiative for National Reconciliation, noted the importance of the meeting, as it embodies the principle of brotherhood, love and cooperation that everyone was brought up on, praising the tireless and benevolent efforts of those who organize such meetings for the sake of reunification, unifying the word, consolidating the principle of fraternity and strengthening the bonds of love.

Anwar Kaddour from the town of Al-Lataminah expressed his keenness to participate in this occasion, as an expression of popular cohesion among the people of the country.

Omar al-Rahmoun, a member of the civil reconciliation in Hama, indicated that the meeting comes as a revival of an old tradition of the people of the Maharda region by participating with each other in various civil, national and social events and events in order to enhance the values ​​of love among them.

Sheikh Muhammad Anis Qaddah said that the honorable people of Mahardah wanted this gesture of joy and brotherhood to express their feelings honestly and spontaneously by sharing the joy of the blessed Eid al-Adha with the rest of the people of the region and emphasizing that the Syrians, as they were in the past, are one hand and one description in the calamities and delights, they will keep the covenant in the face of everyone He is trying in vain to undermine their country, while Dhayeh Hammadi, the Mukhtar of Qalaat al-Madiq, asserted that these spontaneous meetings would strengthen the bonds of love between the people of the country.

In turn, Nasr Al-Sateef, from the people of Al-Jalama, said: We meet today in Mahrada, brothers in God from different religions and regions, pointing out that the meeting is a true expression and embodiment of the Syrian family, which possesses the ancient history and authenticity of civilizations.
