Today, the Chinese authorities imposed a closure on the city of Nanjing, after discovering 17 cases of corona infection among the city’s cleaners, and prevented its residents from leaving unless he was tested for the virus.
(Xinhua) stated that the authorities in the city of 9.3 million people will conduct corona examination tests for all its residents as soon as possible, noting that the confirmed cases of infection were revealed during the routine examinations conducted on workers and employees at the city's airport.
The city was keen to prevent public gatherings and close closed entertainment venues, while summer schools and public universities were suspended until further notice.
