Eight people were injured in a shooting in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
The Associated Press quoted local police as saying in a statement today that "a person in a car shot a group of people who were traveling on a bus near Lincoln Park on the north side of Chicago, injuring eight people." The injured were taken to hospital as police began Investigations to find out the causes and circumstances of the accident.
The United States witnesses frequent shootings in light of the laws that legalize the bearing of arms as an individual right, and the prevalence of violence in American society.
