Today, the Homs Fire Brigade put out four fires that affected dry grass and forest trees in Homs and its countryside.
Brigadier General Hassan Ammar, commander of the Homs Fire Brigade, told SANA reporter that the cadres of the regiment dealt with a large grass fire near the Rawabi gas station on the Homs-Tartous road in the western Homs countryside and were able to put it out before reaching the station.
Ammar added that the regiment's cadres put out two fires that broke out with dry herbs and forest trees near the Umm Jameh bridge and another near the Al-Hawash junction on the side of the Homs-Tartous road, in addition to putting out a grass fire in the Al-Waer neighborhood in Homs.
Yesterday, Homs firefighting teams put out a fire that broke out with dry herbs, fruit trees and forestry trees in the village of Bahour in Dahr Al-Qusayr area in Homs countryside.
