The justice granted this Thursday the conditional freedom to the former vice president of Argentina Amado Boudou, according to the ruling accessed by CNN.
The former running mate of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner was sentenced in August 2018 to five years and ten months in prison for the crimes of passive bribery and negotiations incompatible with the public function regarding the control of 70% of the shares of the printing press of Ciccone Calcográfica currency while he was economy minister, accusations he has always denied.
Currently, Boudou was under house arrest.
The justice granted him conditional release for having served two-thirds of his sentence and advanced his possibility of accessing the benefit because he studied during his detention and for the reports of good conduct.
