The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants and the Minister of Defense in the Lebanese caretaker government, Zeina Aker, condemned the attacks and violations carried out by the Israeli enemy targeting Syria from Lebanese airspace.
Aker stressed in a statement that these attacks constitute a flagrant violation of Lebanese sovereignty and international resolutions, and threaten security, stability and peace in Lebanon.
At the request of Lebanese President General Michel Aoun, the Lebanese delegate to the United Nations was informed of the need to inform the United Nations General Secretariat of Israel’s continued violation of Lebanese sovereignty, especially in light of the use of Lebanese airspace to target Syrian territory.
And the air defense media of the Syrian Arab Army confronted, at dawn today, an Israeli aggression with missiles on the Al-Qusayr area in the Homs countryside, and shot down most of the hostile missiles.
