Diego Santilli is
launched this Thursday
as a candidate for national deputy for the province of Buenos Aires in a ceremony in La Plata, accompanied by the head of the Buenos Aires government Horacio Rodríguez Larreta and several references from Together for Change.
The presentation, under the slogan "It's Together" is made at the Equestrian Club of La Plata, a day after Larreta, Mauricio Macri and Elisa Carrió, among others, published a photo of Santilli's reddish hair on the networks, thus beginning to the campaign of the current deputy head of the Buenos Aires government.
With Santilli will also be his second on the ballot, Graciela Ocaña, and several other references from the PRO and the Civic Coalition.
Santilli will compete in the Juntos internal against
Facundo Manes, who has the support of the radical wing of the main opposition alliance and allies identified with Buenos Aires Peronism such as Emilio Monzó and Joaquín de la Torre.
Patricia Bullrich, Carrió, Miguel Ángel Pichetto and Jorge Macri were also present at the event.
In addition, the mayor of La Plata, Julio Garro, served as host and they were seen by the mayors of Lanús, Néstor Grindetti -head of the campaign-, and of Tres de Febrero, Diego Valenzuela.

The pre-launch
campaign
was with
a curious campaign that went viral on networks
and had the main references of Juntos por el Cambio tweeting the hashtag #Es Juntos along with a photo of Santilli's red hair. Although no direct mention was made of him, it was a sign of support for his candidacy that was accompanied, among others, by Rodríguez Larreta, Carrió and even former President Mauricio Macri,
from Switzerland.
Not so, for example, Bullrich, who
did not tweet throughout the day
.
According to a source commented to
Clarín
, the Santilli hair campaign sought to install "a topic of conversation" in society for the elections, with a mixture of
"humor and symbolism, something non-traditional
.
"
"The 'Colo' gives us closeness and empathy at a time when people are very warm with the provincial and national governments," they explained.
What they called the "traditional campaign" was today's event, in which the team was presented as a kind of kickoff that will have as a clear focus the putting on the table of a proposal radically opposed to that of the political adversary.
From the discursive point of view, the campaign will seek to mark that "Kirchnerism is opposite"
and will delve into how the national and provincial government faced the economic and health crisis. Pure Crack, with Alberto Fernández and Axel Kicillof as recipients.
The list will have representatives from all the spaces that make up the opposition arch
.
It will be led by Santilli, who will be seconded by Ocaña.
Third and fourth will be two representatives of the Carrió Civic Coalition:
Juan Manuel López
and
Marcela Campagnoli
.
Fifth
Gerardo Milman
, who responds to Patricia Bullrich;
sixth
Natalia Villa
, close to Jorge Macri;
and seventh
Hernán Lombardi
, direct line with Mauricio Macri.

In Buenos Aires,
the larretismo has been installing Santilli as a candidate since the beginning of the year
, despite the discomfort of a majority sector of radicalism, which is what drives Manes to be a deputy and the initial differences with Jorge Macri, who sought to compete as head of a third list.
But last week a general agreement was reached and, distribution by means of candidatures for each sector, Santilli was chosen as a candidate for a space that,
under the slogan of "It's Together", has already officially entered the field
, less than 72 hours from the closing of lists.
