The storm raged on Lake Garda on Tuesday (July 13th). According to Italian media reports, as later in Germany, numerous houses were flooded and people had to flee to get to safety. As

describes, among them were tourists who first walked towards the beach to take pictures of the natural spectacle. But then they realized the seriousness of the situation and fled. Numerous trees were uprooted or fallen, and there were also some injured.

reports that a roof even collapsed in a school in the small town of Arco, whereupon numerous emergency services were looking for victims.
Fortunately, however, it is a holiday and no one has been harmed.
Lake Garda is reported to have seen one of the worst storms in over 100 years.

A violent storm wave with thunderstorms and hail also hit the province of Milan in Italy.
Centimeter-sized hailstones fell from the sky, causing severe damage.
Dozens of cars were damaged by the rage of the hail in Rozzano in a matter of minutes.
Recordings from a parking lot show the dire extent of the storm in the video.
Numerous car windows have broken and some of the vehicles have to be towed away.

One day later - on Wednesday - the situation around Lake Garda and northern Italy was calmed when the storm low also raged in northern Europe.
There it caused heavy rain, floods and numerous human victims, especially in the west of Germany.
