The Corona Cabinet this evening (Thursday) approved the outline of the green mark - the Corona regulations on events and businesses designed to curb the spread of the disease.

At the same time, the Cabinet approved additional restrictions on entry and exit from Israel via Ben Gurion Airport.

When will the current outline of the character come into force, what kind of events and businesses will it apply to, and which countries have been added to the list of banned countries?

When will the green character take effect?

According to the cabinet decision, the green mark will take effect in a week, Thursday, July 29th.

Unlike in the past, cabinet and health ministers have sought to warn in advance of any government decisions to allow time for reorganization.

what is he saying?

The green mark means that any event in which there are more than one hundred participants, in closed or open spaces, will be conditional on the presentation of a recovery or vaccinated certificate, or alternatively a negative corona test valid from the last 72 hours, for those who are not vaccinated or recovering.

For the time being, there will be no restriction on participants, but in events in enclosed spaces, participants will be required to wear a face mask.

Events with up to a hundred participants will remain unchanged.

No restrictions will be imposed on them, except for the obligation to wear masks.

Who will the character not apply to?

The green label will not apply to children up to the age of 12, as they are not eligible to be vaccinated.

At weddings and celebrations, where the risk increases because of eating and dancing together, children under the age of 12 will be required to present a negative test.

What events and businesses are included in the new restrictions?

The green label will apply to cultural and sporting events, gyms, restaurants and dining rooms, conferences, tourist attractions and houses of worship.

Accommodation in hotels will be charged green, except for children under 12 who enter without checking.

On August 8, the set of quick tests will begin, which will be free for those aged 12 and under.

Citizens over the age of 12 who have not been vaccinated and will be tested under the green label, or for shortening isolation from 14 days a week, will cost money, except for vaccine engines.

The Ministry of Health hopes that this directive will lead to a significant increase in the percentage of vaccinations and will lead to a curb in morbidity.

Which countries are you not allowed to fly to?

And is the list likely to expand?

Cabinet ministers have decided to expand the list of red countries to which travel is prohibited, with the exception of an exceptions committee approval.

The following countries were added: Britain, Georgia, Cyprus and Turkey.

Once submitted to the government for approval, the installation will take effect starting next Friday, July 30th.

Once the decision is approved, there will be a total of 14 countries that are prohibited from entering.

There are another 17 orange states, to which travel is allowed, but back there is a one-week isolation requirement subject to further inspection on the seventh day.

More countries are expected to be added to the list of these countries, as the morbidity situation in the world is getting worse.

If I have a flight to one of the countries listed, should it be canceled?

Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz said last night at a press briefing that he recommends not traveling abroad at all and calculating the trips.

"You may travel to a country that is allowed, but in return it will be included in the list of countries that are committed to isolation," he said.

The flight to the red states is only allowed after the approval of the Exceptions Committee, so if you have booked a flight ticket to one of these destinations, you need to register for a committee discussion and get the approval.

What tests should be performed before returning to Israel?

And who is committed to isolation?

Before returning to Israel, another PCR test must be performed before boarding the plane.

The test should be valid for the last 72 hours.

Returners from all destinations will perform an additional PCR test at the airport.

Until you receive a negative answer, you will have to go into isolation, unless the result came after 24 hours from the moment of the test, then you will be released from isolation even without the result, if you return from a country allowed, without a severe travel warning (red or orange).
