New elections and honors were now on the agenda at the Prem fire department.

On the other hand, the chairman and the commander had little to report due to Corona when they looked back on their activities.

Prem

- The outgoing commander Hugo Kleber received a high honor.

"He is an important personality in the club - 40 years is a damn long time," said district fire chief Manfred Baum in recognition of the four decades of active fire service.

In the form of an order and a certificate, Kleber was presented with the fire service honorary mark.

"You more than deserve this honor," said Baum.

"We never quarreled, we just shared our opinions more often," said Baum, looking back on the "really good cooperation" with Kleber.

In addition, he could always rely on Kleber, for example on missions: “Mani, everything is already done, it’s all right”: The sentence also reflects the calm and the overview of the long-time Premer commander.

Prem's Mayor Andreas Echtler then went into more detail about the career of the “Premer Unique Fire Brigade”: Hugo Kleber was a founding member of the association in 1988. At that time he joined the fire brigade committee as an assessor. He was then second in command for six years and then first in command for twelve years. As an ensign, he represented his club for 26 years. "Hats off for the performance, the stamina and the nerves, all you have to do is say" Thank you ", said the town hall chief and therefore presented a voucher for an eight-day holiday on behalf of the community.

Michael Christa, the previous second in command, was then elected to the office of Kleber.

Mathias Spindler takes over the post of second commandant from now on.

The previous chairman, Martin Günther, was confirmed in his office for the second time.

From now on, Ulrich Heißerer (previously: Michael Christa) is the new second chairman.

Daniel Keller remains the fire department treasurer.

The office of secretary has been filled, and Julian Weiß has now taken over for Matthias Neckermann.

The assessors Markus Schmid and Christian Mattner were re-elected, Ulrich Heißerer handed over to Mathias Spindler.

Two members received an honor from the association: Michael Barnsteiner was made an honorary member after his 70th birthday in accordance with the statutes, and Stefan Heißerer received the silver badge of honor for 25 years of membership.

According to Günther, the association has a total of 117 members.

Commander Hugo Kleber reported on several insect removals, the binding of traces of oil and the involvement of the Premer fire brigade (currently 38 active firefighters) in the television production "Marie catches fire".

During the storm at the beginning of July, three cellars in the hamlet of Gründl had to be pumped out.

Therefore, a retention basin has now been built there.
