The district honored the best high school graduates at the three state high schools.
Many of them want to study medicine.

- Despite the corona pandemic and distance learning, 21 high school graduates and four high school graduates at the three state high schools in the district - Holzkirchen, Miesbach and Tegernsee - achieved top marks: Six times an Abi average of 1.0 was achieved, five times an average of 1 , 1, three times a cut of 1.2 and eleven times a cut of 1.3.
The graduates received a certificate, small gifts and, of course, exuberant praise from District Administrator Olaf von Löwis for these outstanding results.

He was very enthusiastic that numerous female graduates were interested in studying mathematics or in the natural sciences.
The second most popular subject after math is medicine.
The district administrator: "Perhaps the corona pandemic has at least something good if many young people are interested in medicine again and our medical care is assured in the future."
