The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games have already kicked off with some competitions such as soccer and softball.

And, as the days go by, there will be more and more sports to watch, with Latin Americans and Americans to follow in their quest for an Olympic medal.
Before telling you about the competitions that you will be able to see this Friday, July 23, remember that tomorrow's session begins with the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, which begins at 7:00 am, Miami time (8:00 pm, Tokyo time).

1. Badminton
There will be 21 group stage matches for various men's and women's modalities.
The first match begins at 8:00 pm Miami time and number 21 begins at 12:00 am on Saturday, July 24, so you will have four hours of competitions, all qualifying.

There will be three games this Friday where Latinos and Americans participate.
a) Group D match, female individual: Daniela Macías (Peru) vs.

b) Group C match, male individual: Lino Muñoz (Mexico) vs.
Ka Long Angus Ng (Hong Kong, China).

2. Archery
This Friday there are two qualifying rounds for archery athletes.
One is female individual competition and the other male.

Meanwhile, in judo, only two matches have a fixed schedule for this Friday, with one that includes a Latin American.
It will be at night and, on Saturday, there will be multiple duels until reaching the medals.
On Friday there is only one taekwondo match involving a Latina.

Latinos in field hockey this July 23
A game of group A, male, of field hockey is played: Argentina vs.
Spain.
Starts at 11:15 pm Miami time.
The judo match is up to 48 kilograms, female, corresponding to the round of 32: Gabriela Chibana (Brazil) vs.
Harriet Bonface (Malawi).
It starts at 10 pm Miami time.
Taekwondo is a qualifying match, under 49 kg for women, between Victoria Stambaugh (Puerto Rico) and Abishag Semberg (Israel).
It starts at 9:00 pm Miami time.
7. Rowing
In rowing there are several races that involve American and Latin American teams.
The first competition starts at 8:50 pm Miami time, and the last one takes place at 11:10 pm Miami time.
These competitions are qualifying rounds, so there is a long way to go to the medal zone.
