Hartz IV - FDP politician: do not offset flood aid with the standard rate

“Among the many flood victims are also people who receive unemployment benefit II.

We mustn't expect them to face any further hardship, ”said Kober on Friday.

Social Minister Hubertus Heil (SPD) must therefore ensure that emergency aid is not counted towards the Hartz IV standard rate. "Otherwise the help would be worthless for you," said Kober. “In addition, Heil should clarify what help the job center those affected can count on and how it is handled. A hotline would be helpful to inform and advise the people affected by the storm in western Germany. ”
