Passing through Boa Vista, capital of the state of Roraima in the Amazon, to stock up on medicines, hammocks and other accessories of civilization, a young indigenous Yanomami was tasked with relaying an urgent message to the local authorities: a group of Illegal gold miners came to settle near his village, polluting its rivers and intimidating its inhabitants.
His people threaten to take up arms.
