Former President Mauricio Macri on Friday accused Kirchnerism of "looting" the Central Bank.
He did so by sharing an analysis made by Alfonso Prat Gay, who was Minister of the Economy during the first year of his Government.
"
This is how Kirchnerism is robbed by the Central Bank
," Macri wrote on Twitter.
In his analysis, Prat Gay argued that "in addition to increasing the Treasury debt more than any other, the CFK governments are also characterized by plundering the Central Bank."
Mauricio Macri's message.
The economist pointed out that, during Cristina's two governments, between 2007 and 2015, Kirchnerism took away and, according to him, "they will not return", "pesos and dollars" equivalent to 26% of the Gross Domestic Product, while in what goes from the mandate of Alberto Fernández, that sum is equivalent to 9% of GDP.
In addition to increasing the Treasury debt more than any other, the CFK governments are also characterized by plundering the Central Bank: they took pesos and dollars, which they will never return, for 26% of GDP in 07-15 and for 9% in 1 / 2 mandate this time 👇🏼

"The watermark of this looting is the fall in net reserves and an increase in remunerated liabilities of the BCRA (among them, the Lebacs that Alberto promised to stop). It is that the resources that BCRA gives to the Treasury do not grow on trees but rather the BCRA buys them against debt, "said the economist.
Prat Gay added that during the first government of Cristina Kirchner "net reserves fell US $ 38,607 million and remunerated liabilities rose US $ 14,947 million. A looting of more than US $ 53,000 million."
