RTL reporter Susanna Ohlen showed herself as a reporter and helper in the disaster area.
A video confronts them with serious allegations.
Cologne - It was only a few days ago that Germany was hit by a severe weather catastrophe - people lost their livelihoods, entire houses were destroyed and previously lively and colorful inner cities looked like a field of muddy rubble.
So also Bad Münstereifel in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The place was particularly hard hit by the flood.
Many helpers gathered in solidarity in the city center to help each other.
RTL reporter with television and Instagram in the flood crisis area
In between, one saw reporters filming from the crisis area and documenting the extent of the destruction.
One of them: Susanna Ohlen, RTL reporter and presenter for “Guten Morgen Deutschland”.
The 39-year-old filmed herself on Instagram with muddy clothes and asked her followers to help: “Everyone lends a hand here, grabs a shovel.
If you have a shovel at home, or a wheelbarrow, come here and get in touch. ”She also explained her personal relationship to the place.
"It hits me a bit more intensely because we have a holiday home here, two kilometers away, thank God there is nothing, but of course, here people stand together, you help each other," says Ohlen on Instagram.

Only a few days later, videos were circulating on YouTube that suddenly showed Susanna Ohlen from a completely different perspective.
In the clips, the presenter apparently smeared herself with mud before a TV shoot.
Who recorded the video is not confirmed, it may be a neighbor who filmed out of a window and has now put it online.
