The Tokyo Olympics began and the Argentine sports homeland is once again filled with pride and enthusiasm with the Albiceleste representatives on Japanese soil.

And one of those who manifested that particular feeling was none other than Lionel Messi, since his vacation in Miami after his consecration with the Argentine National Team in the Copa América.

Still happy for the consecration in the Maracana, the Rosario star expressed himself through his social networks to send a message of encouragement to all Argentine athletes who are preparing to compete in Japan, representing the country in the different disciplines.

The world idol uploaded a story to Instagram, where you can see a collage of three photos: two of the parade at the opening of the Games with Cecilia Carranza and Santiago Lange, the flag bearers carrying the Argentine flag, and one of the entire delegation that traveled to Tokyo.

In addition, he added a sticker of the Olympic rings and wrote:

#VamosArgentina

, along with a flag and a mention to the Argentine Olympic Committee (COA).

Lionel Messi's encouragement to the Olympians.

It is worth remembering that on the 10th he participated in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and how could it be otherwise, he brought home the gold medal after beating Nigeria 1-0 in the final, with a goal from Ángel Di María (same result and scorer than a couple of weeks ago in Brazil).

Batista was the coach of that team that won the highest medal with footballers of the stature of Sergio Agüero, Juan Román Riquelme, Javier Mascherano, Fernando Gago, Sergio Romero and Ezequiel Lavezzi, among others.

The inauguration of these Olympic Games in Tokyo was a party that had as protagonists the Argentine delegation, who paraded while the athletes jumped and sang, something that caught the attention of everyone in the middle of a spectacular ceremony, although in front of a half-empty stadium.

The Argentine delegation was the only one that entered with all the athletes jumping, celebrating and singing.

THE joy and party vibes they conveyed for the ceremony that needed it.
