Three police officers were slightly injured Friday, July 23 during an intervention in Toulouse after being sprayed with ammonia by a marginal, AFP learned from police sources.

Our three colleagues received care on the spot and do not suffer from apparent burns
," Philippe Lavenue, the Occitanie regional secretary of Alliance Police Nationale, told AFP.
Around 4 a.m., while the police were intervening in the context of the compulsory placement in the hospital of a man, a woman threw ammonia at them, hitting a policewoman in the face with this product which, in high concentration, can be very dangerous.

were taken to task by a woman totally outside the intervention
", underlines the Alliance union.
Judged in immediate appearance
After having been "
ousted initially
" by a policewoman, the woman in particular sprayed the official with the irritant.
The author of the attack, a marginal "
well known to the police
" usually residing in the Perpignan region, was arrested and then placed in detention, the same source said.
She will be judged Monday in immediate appearance.
