Alex Shtilov sums up his performance in Tokyo (Walla!)
After being eliminated in the qualifying round in Tokyo, Alex Shtilov sums up a long and impressive Olympic career.
The Israeli gymnast who appeared in four Olympics received a weighted score of 13,500 in the ground exercise and did not make it into the top 8 who advanced to the finals.
"Emotions are mixed. There's a sense of missing out, not everything went as I planned. By and large I did a decent exercise, a whole exercise, and the feelings are good overall," Shtilov concluded the show, hinting at retirement.
"You probably won't see me on the ground as a gymnast anymore. This was my last appearance at the Olympics. I prefer not to announce my plans, but I will try to devote time to the family and then make decisions."

On the chances of the Artium Dolgofiat medal he said: "I very much hope that Artium will come back with a smile and do the job he knows how to do. He has done it before, and he has good chances."
Shtilov's record achievement was in London 2012, then he finished sixth in the ground exercise, in Beijing 2008 he finished eighth and last in the final.
In Rio he disappointed and finished with the 58th result in the qualifiers and of course did not advance to the final.
