The Attorney General of Guatemala, Consuelo Porras, dismissed from his post the special prosecutor Juan Francisco Sandoval, of the Special Prosecutor's Office against Impunity (FECI), the Public Ministry reported this Friday in a statement.

According to the authorities, Porras' decision is due to alleged "humiliations" by the now former official against the attorney general herself.
