With the participation of 60 male and female players, the Homs kickboxing championship was concluded in the light contact and semi contact styles for the junior and female categories.
The results of the light contact method in the two categories resulted in the Homs Police Club’s players getting first place in all weights, namely Laith Diop with a weight of 40 kg, Alaa Shabib with a weight of 44 kg, Hamza Al-Sarem with a weight of 48 kg, Nasser Al-Hayek with a weight of 55 kg, Marah Diop with a weight of 40 and Judy Budur with a weight of 45 kg and Batoul Jaafar Pozen 50 kg, Yana Dome, 55 kg, and Cinderella Kno, 59 kg.
In the semi-contact competitions, Al Wathba Club players won first place in all weights: Sidra Ghanem, 42 kg, Catherine Shatat, 46 kg, Lian Ibrahim, 50 kg, Radwan Khalil, 42 kg, Barakat, 47 kg, Moayed Balika, 57 kg, and Abdul Rahman Al Khouli, 63 kg. kg and Omar Kharma with a weight of 69 kg and Ahmed Assaf with a weight of over 69 kg, in addition to Al-Karama Club player Abdulaziz Al-Ashqar with a weight of 59 kg.
Head of the game’s technical committee, Jassem Shabib, said in a statement to SANA’s sports reporter that the tournament was held in preparation for participating in the Republic Championship, which is scheduled to be held at the end of this month in Tartous, pointing to the difficulties facing the game represented in the absence of financial support for coaches and the lack of equipment and equipment, as well as the clubs’ failure to adopt the distinguished players who own Achievements.
