Amid the uncertainty of knowing when he will return to television with his mythical lunches,
Mirtha Legrand
, who almost did not move from his home during the entire pandemic,
surprised on Friday night when he made his first public outing.
The host attended, accompanied by Juana Viale, her granddaughter,
to the Astral Theater to enjoy
Dos locas de auction
, the play starring Verónica Llinás and Solita Silveyra.
With more tranquility than months ago and after having received, on April 14, the second dose of the coronavirus vaccine, the diva was encouraged and,
with much care and protocols, approached Corrientes Avenue to see a theatrical show.
Activity that I used to do regularly before the pandemic and that I missed very much.
Mirtha Legrand went to the Astral Theater on her first public outing: she was accompanied by Juana Viale, her granddaughter.
The arrival of Mirtha to the theater convulsed those present
and before entering the room many people wanted to greet the diva.
Due to protocols and care, the diva returned the gesture of affection from the public, with whom she was reunited after a long time, at a distance but with a lot of love and very smiling.
Mirtha Legrand was accompanied by Juana Viale, her granddaughter.
Later,
inside the theater, where she was placed in one of the VIP boxes, Legrand was always protected with a mask, as was her granddaughter.
In addition, the diva wore an elegant white jacket with a dress and gloves of the same color.
2020, although it was a difficult year for everyone, for Mirtha it was particularly delicate.
Beyond her age and the dangers of being an at-risk patient, the pandemic forced her to remain completely confined, so she had to leave her program in the hands of Juana Viale, at least temporarily.
But the hardest hit came on May 1, 2020, when his twin sister, Goldie, passed away.
The delicate thing about that moment for Mirtha was that he could not even go to see her off at the wake.
The only departure from home that La Chiqui had made was last December 20, when he returned to his program just for that day, after nine months of absence.
On that occasion, he drove the cycle in the company of his granddaughter.
That day, very excited, she dedicated the program to Goldie.
It should be remembered that a year earlier, on August 17, 2019, his other brother, the filmmaker José Martínez Suárez, had died.
