Today, the Lebanese army arrested five armed men in the city of Tripoli, north of Lebanon, and seized weapons and ammunition in their possession.
The Lebanese Army Command stated in a statement today that "a force of the army arrested five armed men in the Saqqi Abu Ali area of Tripoli, and seized a Kalashnikov assault rifle, a pistol, a Bomb Action rifle and its ammunition, in addition to two cars."
The statement indicated that the seized and arrested persons were handed over to the competent judiciary for interrogation.
