Lerchenberg instead of Mallorca: ZDF postpones its "TV garden" edition with Ballermann flair.
Now the broadcaster declares its decision for a later date.
Lerchenberg - It is one of the highlights of the “TV garden” season, many viewers have been looking forward to this one program long in advance: the Mallorca edition of the ZDF “TV garden”.
Well there is bad news.
ZDF postpones the Mallorca edition of the television garden
Exactly this program will be canceled for the time being.
According to the ZDF, the Ballermann edition will be postponed to a later date.
The broadcaster explained its decision to the “Der Westen” portal as follows: “Due to current events, the ZDF 'TV Garden' decided to broadcast the program on July 25 with the motto 'Mallorca' at a later date within the TV garden season move.
This decision has the unreserved support of all invited Mallorca artists.
The television viewers can still look forward to an attractive live entertainment program with great artists, which takes the current circumstances into account. "
ZDF television garden with replacement program
Even with previous episodes of the Sunday program, which can always be seen from 12 noon on ZDF, not everything went according to plan this year. The live audience, which was allowed to be on site for the first time due to the corona pandemic, had to be evacuated again immediately after the start of the broadcast - storms swept over Lerchenberg. Moderator Andrea Kiewel fled to the studio inside. Then severe storms caused devastation and destruction in Germany, people lost their lives. For “Kiwi”, who actually wanted to put people in a good mood with a hit party, a difficult introduction.
The broadcaster's decision to broadcast on Mallorca is also supported by the planned Ballermann stars such as Jürgen Drews.
He shared the statement on Instagram and added: “I fully support the ZDF decision and look forward to being part of a future show.
And because many have asked: I'm fine!
I wish you all a great weekend!"
