The Afghan army announced that 11 Taliban militants were killed in an air strike by Afghan planes in Badakhshan province in northern Afghanistan.
And the Xinhua news agency quoted the Afghan army as saying in a statement today: that its planes carried out a raid in Argo district, targeting positions of Taliban militants, killing 11 of them.
To that, the police in Faryab province in the north of the country announced that five Taliban militants were killed and one of their leaders was wounded in a mine explosion in their car.
Yesterday, the Afghan Ministry of Defense announced the elimination of 33 Taliban militants in Jawzjan and Helmand provinces, north and south of the country.
