A 38-year-old Corona patient who gave birth to an emergency yesterday was evacuated tonight (Sunday) to Wolfson Hospital from Barzilai Hospital in a critical condition - for treatment with a heart-lung device (Acmo).

The mother, a corona patient and unvaccinated, was evacuated to Barzilai due to a deterioration in her condition - where they had to perform an emergency birth.

Her condition then worsened.



A team from Wolfson Hospital that included an operating room nurse, a heart surgeon and a heart-lung technician, went out to Barzilai.

There the midwife was connected to an Acme device and the team evacuated her to the general intensive care unit at Wolfson.

Now the hospital staff is fighting for its life.

The hospital said she was hospitalized in a critical condition with respiratory failure due to pneumonia caused by the corona virus.
