A look at the warning card from the DWD shows that the first official severe weather warnings are already in effect.
The districts of Dachau, Fürstenfeldbruck, Landsberg am Lech, Marktoberdorf, Kaufbeuren, Mindelheim and Augsburg are colored yellow on the map.
That means: Here meteorologists are currently warning of thunderstorms with strong gusts of wind (alert level 1).
The warning applies until 10 a.m. for the time being.
The good news for Sunday morning: After all, the temperatures remain summery today, with highs of 21 degrees Celsius in the Allgäu and up to 27 degrees Celsius on the Main and Danube.
At the start of the new week, it will remain rainy on Monday, with a few thunderstorms threatening.
