Roman Zdorov's wife, Olga Zdorov, came out tonight (Sunday) calling for her husband to be released, ahead of tomorrow's court hearing on his request to be released from prison until the end of the legal proceedings against him in the retrial.

"No one really thinks he is dangerous except Silk Bud and all his applause in the prosecution and the media," she wrote in a Facebook post.

"Tomorrow will be the most important discussion for me personally," she noted at the beginning of the post.

"A hearing in which we will seek to release Roman until the end of the proceedings. His freedom. And his return home before the retrial is more important to me than anything. Roman is no longer convicted of murder. The previous trial and tribunals have all been overturned. Roman is now innocent until proven guilty."
