Denk's accusations against the administration of not working properly had caused quite a tremor recently. VG managing director Eugen Altmann then took the responsible clerk out of the line of fire. But since the Jägersdorf fire station project has to go through part of the planning process again because the man entrusted with the matter is suddenly no longer available, the item was back on the agenda at the Thursday meeting.
Under point 6, advice should actually be given on how to deal with this changed initial situation and who should follow in the footsteps of the withdrawn planner. In Denk's eyes a personnel matter that, according to the rules of procedure, should not be dealt with publicly - which he asked for a vote. Mayor Anita Wölfle pointed out that he, Denk, had publicly named names in this matter in one of the previous meetings. Denk protested that she had not done this, the mayor invoked that she had reassured the committee and the audience that they had also heard. Denk, in turn, had the truth of his version confirmed in a telephone conversation with a listener.
In the most recent meeting it became increasingly clear how tense and charged the atmosphere in the local council is.
The fact that the local councils - grudgingly, but not to risk a mistake - voted for Denk's request that the point be closed to the public did the rest.
Because the numerous Jägersdorf firefighters who had come to the meeting especially for this purpose then left the meeting room disappointed.
